I want to see DJ Adele in action at a live event. Where and when can I do this?

Many of the events are private parties and are closed to the general public. I would not be able to send you to a client's event, in the same way that I would not send a stranger to your private event. However, I do play several public events. Contact me regarding my upcoming schedule. Keep in mind, however, that the event you visit may not be anything like what you are looking for at your event. Can I meet with DJ Adele in advance to plan my event?

All details of the event are planned and agreed on in advance in a pre-event consultation. At the pre-event consultation, you'll be able to choose songs and playlists, ask specific questions, make requests and sign the contract to book your event with me.

How far in advance should we book DJ Adele?

It depends on the date. Some clients book up to a year or more in advance. Others are comfortable waiting until a few months before the event. Saturday nights are the busiest, so waiting too long to hire me may lead to disappointment.

Do we have to sign a contract?

Absolutely. You should get a written contract from all of your event service providers. No professional service (emphasis on professional) operates without written contracts. If a provider does not ask you to sign a contract, you should be wary. Make sure the contract includes date, times and location of your event. I always use a written contract to guarantee your event details.

Is DJ Adele insured?

Yes! As a professional, I operate with liability insurance. It's a good idea to ask this question of all your event service providers.

What type of equipment does DJ Adele use?

There is a difference between home audio equipment and professional equipment. I use commercial quality sound systems and state-of-the-art computer equipment. I also have professional lighting equipment if your event requires it.

Do you play the music at appropriate volumes?

The biggest concern for most clients is that the music is played appropriately for cocktail and dinner hours, allowing the guests to enjoy their conversations. With 15 years of experience, I recognize the needs of the occasion and plays music accordingly.

Is there a charge to have DJ Adele set up early, even if she won't be playing music?

Your contract with me is written so that you only pay for the time you want her to be ready until the last song is played. Most often, a DJ begins playing music once he or she is set up. DJs, like other professionals, are paid for their time, whether they are playing music or not. Imagine scheduling an appointment but asking your doctor to arrive at the office two hours early and to wait for you without being billed for that time! I am a professional and is paid for her time.

What does DJ Adele need the event facility to provide her with?

A standard banquet table (6-8 feet long) decorated appropriately for the event will be sufficient. The table must have easy access to a standard electrical outlet. If lighting is involved, two separate outlets within 12 feet of each other are necessary.

What types of music does DJ Adele play?

Known for tailoring a personalized event, I have a music library that encompasses music from the 30s through today's Top 40 hits. While most DJ services specialize in contemporary hits, I can please almost any crowd with her library of over 20,000 songs. I update her library regularly, and the entire library is digital, ensuring the highest quality.

Does DJ Adele play guest requests?

Many DJs think they know best what to play for a crowd. I am a professional and will listen to request and suggestions from your guests and play them where appropriate.

How long will DJ Adele perform?

Each performance is personalized to meet the client's needs. Whether a 3-hour party or a 6-hour wedding reception, I work with you in the pre-event consultation to create the event you desire.

Will you help with announcements?

I come equipped with two microphones (wired and wireless) and is happy to make announcements and to help coordinate activities and announcements at your event, if you desire her to. Announcements and activities should be planned with specific detail at the pre-event consultation so that there are no surprises or disappointments at your event.

What will DJ Adele wear?

As a professional DJ, I will dress appropriately for your occasion, whether a casual backyard barbeque, a formal fundraiser or even a Hawaiian luau.
